Message from the Manager
All of our neighborhood markets have now closed for the season but that doesn't mean you still can't get fresh. Our downtown location stays open all year long! We will be open November 9 & 10, 16 & 17 and 23 & 24 with regular market hours of 6am - 1pm on Saturdays and 8am - 1pm on Sundays. You will also find many vendors selling their produce on Wednesday, November 27th from 10am - 4pm. If you have ordered your Fresh Thanksgiving Turkey...that is the day you will pick it up. While here you can pick up potatoes, carrots, sweet potatoes, apples or apple pies, bakery goods and so much more. Stock up now for winter.
Christmas Tree Sales
Nick and Ben Wolcyn are twin brothers that have grown up in the tree business. They work full-time growing trees for landscaping, conservation planting and Christmas trees. The trees are grown 50 miles north of the metro area near Cambridge, MN. This is their 7th year selling trees at the St. Paul Farmer's Market which is home away from home from Thanksgiving to Christmas. Fresh trees are hauled down from Cambridge on a weekly basis.
Christmas tree sales are open 7 days a week. The hours are from 9am - 7pm on weekends and from 12pm - 8pm weekdays. They will have Balsam Fir, Canaan Fir, Fraser Fir, White Pine and some Colorado Spruce available this season. Wreaths, garland rope, spruce tops and boughs as well as tree stands, tree bags and other items will also be available. Their website is www.wolcyntreefarms.com. Nick, Ben and the rest of their staff enjoy coming down to St. Paul every year and spending time with the wonderful people of St. Paul.
